LASER VISTA partner practice in Zug (in cooperation with the ophthalmic practice of  Dr. med. Beat A. Weber)

2005
Our LASER VISTA clinik in Pfäffikon/SZ is opened.
LASER VISTA partner practice in Pontresina/Samedan (in cooperation with Klinik Aivla, Dr. med. Paolo Bernasconi)

2003
The Vista Klinik is included in the hospital list of Canton Baselland for supplementary insurance purposes.

2001
The second floor of the Vista Klinik is developed into a refractive clinic. Our LASER VISTA laser eye centre with two new operating theatres is created.

2000
Recognition of the Vista Klinik as a further training clinic for ophthalmology in categories B1 and B2.

1997
Move to the newly constructed Vista Klinik building in Binningen. The practice now has 30 employees, including four physicians. With ten beds, the Vista Klinik also offers its patients the possibility of an inpatient stay.

1996
This is the year that LASER VISTA AG is founded.

1994
Construction of his own clinic at Hauptstrasse 55 in Binningen. Vista Klinik AG is founded.

1993
Further office and consultancy rooms are rented. Dr. med. Eduard Haefliger treats defective vision with the excimer laser for the first time and thus becomes a pioneer in this field in Switzerland.

1989
Move to larger premises in Binningen (two operating theatres plus pre-operative and post-operative areas for patients undergoing surgery).
Dr. med. Eduard Haefliger is one of the first surgeons in Switzerland to operate on cataracts on an outpatient basis in a privately managed practice.

1987
In addition to his work in the practice in Binningen, Dr. med. Eduard Haefliger becomes Medical Director of the Eye Department at Cantonal Hospital Liestal.

1986
After a two-year stay in America to research future intraocular lenses (work in experimental surgery), Dr. med. Eduard Haefliger opens a part-time practice at Hauptstrasse 50 in Binningen.
